Gratitude is the best medicine

Develop a feel-good folder.

Save celebratory emails, text messages, or thoughtful cards from friends and place them in a folder to read aloud or to yourself during stressful work days.

The energy of gratitude empowers our wellness goals.

When we think we do not have it all, counting our blessings helps us acknowledge what we have in the present and discover the benefits of maintaining an “attitude of gratitude” in our approach to wellness.

Igniting emotions that invite the universe to grant us more positive experiences sets us on the path to a more satisfying perspective on our lives overall.

Gratitude in our awareness has an effect on our mental outlook and our energetic output. In turn, we are mentally stronger, emotionally happier, physically healthier, and more spiritually intuitive.

So how can we generate increased awareness of living in a space of daily gratitude?

Keep a gratitude journal.

Meditating upon five things we are thankful for just before going to bed is a great way to prepare for a good night’s sleep.

Create a thanksgiving jar.

Record feel-good experiences on slips of paper and place them in a jar. Each morning set the tone for gratitude before heading off into the fast-paced reality of responsibility.

Though we are not where we want to be, remember there is always someone on the planet who would love to be right where you are now.

Thanksgiving aids your inner and outer wellness transformation.

Gratitude looks good on you!
